The celebration of the World Landscape Architecture Month got on the way on Saturday 
11th April, 2015 by 1:00pm Hosted by the Abuja Regional Chapter in Abuja, Nigeria
with the Launching of Advocacy Manual on ‘Importance of Trees and How to plant a
Tree’ with the slogan “Plant a tree each year of your life” in collaboration with the Parks
and Recreation Department (in charge of Park Development and Management, Greening
and Beautification etc) at the Abuja Central Park and Botanical Garden Abuja, Nigeria.
The aim is to encourage people to plant trees in their communities this raining season
and to derive the benefits which trees offer the environment.
